Studio Kroner presents The Global Warming Series
StudioKroner brings together two highly regarded artists —David Young and Dena Hawes— who offer very different approaches to addressing global warming, yet both honor the beauty of the earth as a source of inspiration.
“The Global Warming Series” features 18 fabulous, large paintings by Bloomington, Indiana artists David Young, and sculptor Dena Hawes with her carefully considered items from nature united with beautifully crafted metalwork.

In addition to David Young & Dena Hawes we are thrilled to present the following artists and scientists:
Mary Kroner: Playwright and performer premieres her one-woman performance piece with music entitled “X Marks the Spot,” which closely examines history, culture, and the environment from a single plot of land.
Ben Brabson: Emeritus Professor of Physics at Indiana University Bloomington (IUB), discusses the science of global warming through the lens of Young’s paintings.
Oliver Kroner: Sustainability Manager for the City of Cincinnati, speaks in the gallery to discuss Climate Action in Cincinnati.
Elaine Olund and others: Poetry about the environment
