A free community celebration of the reopening of Music Hall and other new and restored cultural facilities.

Join ArtsWave on October 7 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. as the newly renovated Music Hall reopens! This free community event includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the state-of-the art, newly-renovated iconic home of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Opera and Cincinnati May Festival. The festivities begin with the official opening of Music Hall at 9:30 a.m. and you can come and go as you please. Throughout the building and surrounding area, you’ll experience performances, tours and hands-on activities in a day that promises to be unlike any other. Mark your calendar for a wave of arts hosted by ArtsWave!

In honor of the RE(NEW)ED Celebration for Music Hall + More on October 7, ArtsWave and Cincinnati Magazine have worked together to produce a one-of-a-kind commemorative publication, “Behind the Buildings: Cincinnati’s Arts Scene.” This publication will give you an in-depth look behind the renovations of Music Hall, as well as an overview of many other new and upcoming projects in Cincinnati’s arts sector, and a profile of the cutting-edge arts innovations, performances and programs made possible by these facilities.
