Drummer Mark Lomax and the Mark Lomax Quartet, alongside CSO Musicians, performs an excerpt from Mark’s project 400: An Afrikan Epic.

Join Mark Lomax and the Mark Lomax Quartet along with members of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra for a special performance of the 400 Years Suite, an excerpt of Lomax\\\’s project 400: An Afrikan Epic. Drawing from Classical Music and Jazz, the program will highlight the experience of Black Americans over the last 400 years and beyond.

With the leadership of African-American Board members Dr. Lee Etta Powell and Earnest James, a committee formed to create the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO) Multicultural Awareness Council in 1989.MAC marks its 30th anniversary with a series of special public events.
