Every Thursday 5:00 – 7:30 pm, September 7 – October 5, Visionaries + Voices invites you to play alongside other artists, collaborate, and get feedback on your puppet show work-in-progress during OPEN STUDIO hours.
We have so many offerings for workshops in the SHOW OF HANDS Puppet Festival, Visionaries + Voices has opened its doors each Thursday from 5-7:30 PM for artists to cultivate their puppets into shows! We have all the making materials you need to create puppets and staff can offer advice on puppetry mechanics.
We will also be working on large scale puppets for Cincinnati puppet events such as Walk with Amal (Sept 22nd), Tchaikovsky Undina by Queen City Opera (Oct 7-8), and the SHOW OF HANDS Puppet Parade (Oct 14th).
There is a creative energy that flows through the artists at Visionaries + Voices that transfers itself to those who visit the studio. Work beside acclaimed Cincinnati artist, Courttney Cooper, as he drafts new versions of giant Cincinnati cityscapes and Octoberfest carnivals.
