ArtsWave Days — Arts on the Hill at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park

Catch a free community preview performance of August Wilson’s “Two Trains Running!”

ArtsWave Days, brought to you by Macy’s, continues with Arts on the Hill, sponsored by Frisch’s Big Boy! At Cincinnati Playhouse in the park, you can catch a free community preview performance of August Wilson’s masterpiece, “Two Trains Running!”

In this masterpiece, history unfolds around everyday lives against the backdrop of the civil rights movement. As part of Wilson’s trailblazing American Century Cycle, “Two Trains Running” paints a compassionate and unforgettable portrait of ordinary people in the midst of transformation. Tickets need to be reserved in advance and you will need to pick them up on March 2 before 3 p.m.

ADVISORY: August Wilson’s Two Trains Running is suitable for adults and teenage audiences. Wilson weaves a dramatic portrait of characters who discuss racial matters, engage in a few illegal activities and use adult language (including the n-word) to describe their life experiences.

ArtsWave Days is brought to you by Macy’s. Series sponsorship from Frisch’s Big Boy and Official Print Media Sponsorship from Enquirer Media.

Convenient parking is available in the Playhouse garage and can be reserved in advance by calling the Box Office. Garage parking is $8.50 in advance for subscribers and $10 for single ticket buyers and at time of performance (if available). Accessible parking for those with disabilities is located in front of the Playhouse’s main entrance, as well as in the Playhouse parking garage. These spaces are limited and must be reserved and paid for in advance. All vehicles using these spaces must display a valid disability sticker. If you prefer to find free parking on surrounding streets, please allow plenty of extra time. Limited free parking is available (where marked) on streets surrounding the Playhouse. Eden Park officially closes at 10 p.m. As a grace period to the Playhouse and its patrons, the police will not ticket vehicles until one half-hour following the end of a performance. The Playhouse assumes no responsibility for anyone receiving a ticket for illegal parking. We also remind you to lock your car and refrain from leaving any valuables visible inside your vehicle.
