Ohio Innocence Project director and co-founder Mark Godsey discusses his book Blind Injustice, which inspired Cincinnati Opera’s upcoming world premiere of the same name.
Ohio Innocence Project (OIP) director and former prosecutor Mark Godsey’s book Blind Injustice serves as the inspiration for our 2019 world premiere of the same name, which tells the story of six people who were wrongfully convicted and ultimately freed by OIP. Evans Mirageas will lead a discussion with Godsey as he draws upon stories from his own career to share how investigations to go awry, leading to the convictions of innocent people.
