Poet and critic Norman Finkelstein will read poems that highlight the Jewish dimension of his work. He will also discuss the relationship between his poetry and criticism apropos of his new book, Like a Dark Rabbi: Modern Poetry and the Jewish Literary Imagination (Hebrew Union College Press, 2019), and read a few poems by the authors about whom he writes. A complementary exhibit on Jewish mysticism will open at the Klau Library in January.
