Another BFMM film party celebrating Black Cowboys through cinema. Tonight’s screening begins with, “Harlem Rides the Range.” Released in 1939, this western features jazz vocalist & singing cowboy sensation, Herb Jeffries.
2nd film in our double feature package is “POSSE.” A 1993 release, this cult classic, produced, written & directed by star Mario van Peebles, “POSSE” also stars Stephen Baldwin, Billy Zane, Tone Loc, and more. No singing but plenty of action!!!
