“Run! Run! As fast as you can! But you can’t catch me. I’m the Gingerbread Man!” Chippie, BCM’s chipmunk mascot, gives chase to the tasty treat as he introduces holiday-themed science to children ages 3-5.
The lab is offered in-person at Behringer-Crawford Museum, 1600 Montague Road, Covington, and virtually on Zoom. The in-person session is free for members and included with museum admission for non-members, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Virtual programming is free for museum members and $5 per family for non-members. There also is a $3 per child lab fee for both live and virtual sessions. A supply pick-up date for virtual participants will be emailed prior to the session.

ADMISSION INFO
Admission to both in-person and virtual sessions is free for BCM members. For future members, the in-person cost is $9 for adults, $8 for seniors 60+ and $5 for children. Cost for the virtual session is $5 per non-member household. There is a $3 lab fee per child for members and non-members for both in-person and virtual sessions. Participation in the in-person sessions is limited to 10 people.
Registration is required at least 7 days in advance to allow time for supply pickup for virtual participants. Call Kim at 859-491-4003. Masks are required for the in-person session. A Zoom link to the virtual session will be sent after registration and materials can be picked at the museum in advance. For those who prefer to get their own supplies, the lab fee is waived and a list will be sent with the Zoom link.
