Hosted by the Cincinnati Youth Choir- this 2-day event showcases students who have been identified as gifted in vocal music from each of the 46 elementary schools in Cincinnati Public Schools.
In 2012, the Cincinnati Youth Choir (CYC) received generous funding from the Louise Dieterle Nippert Musical Arts Fund of the Greenacers Foundation, to help create the Cincinnati Public School (CPS) Honor Choir program. During our first year, 80+ CPS students, from 23 + different CPS schools combined forces and performed with our award-winning Bel Canto Choir during the World Choir Games at the gorgeous Aronoff Center! Funds continued to provide a group 115+ singers the opportunity to learn and perform with our Bel Canto choir 2013- 2019. After a two year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2022, we once again welcomed the top talent from each CPS School, and reunited to create beautiful music together, without financial obligation.
