CliftonFest Returns to Ludlow Avenue Business District Oct. 7-8

The fifth annual CliftonFest features the popular lineup of live music, food, family fun and arts & crafts vendors during a two-day street festival along the Ludlow Avenue business district of Gaslight Clifton.

WHERE:  Ludlow Avenue in Clifton’s Gaslight District

WHEN: Friday, Oct. 7  6-10 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 8  11 a.m.-11 p.m.

COST: Free and open to the public

The fifth annual CliftonFest returns to Ludlow Avenue Oct. 7-8 with live music performances, local restaurant specials, family games in Burnet Woods, retail vendors and chalk artists along Ludlow Avenue, a beer tent on Telford Avenue, a 5k walk and run, a pet parade and more.

Friday, Oct. 7
6-10 p.m.  Wine tastings and jazz with Jump ‘n’ Jive Swing Band and Rags to Riches on Clifton Plaza. Wine tasting sponsored by Ludlow Wines.

Saturday, Oct. 8
9 a.m.  TriHealth 5K Run/Walk starts at Trailside Nature Center in Burnet Woods. Registration is $25 through Friday evening Oct. 7 and $30 on-site Saturday; family registration is $80 for four members through Oct. 7 and $100 on-site Saturday. T-shirts are available for purchase for an additional $5.

11 a.m.-11 p.m.  Chalk art, street performers, vendor booths, beer tent, storefront activities from businesses and local restaurant specials along Ludlow Avenue between Clifton and Ormond. Ludlow Avenue will be closed to traffic all day.

Music performances by Phil DeGreg Trio Brasileiro (11 a.m.), Lagniappe (1 p.m.), Soul Refugees (3 p.m.), Rumbon (5 p.m.), Keshvar Project (7 p.m.) and The Almighty Get Down (9 p.m.) on the festival’s outdoor stage at Ludlow and Ormond.

12-7 p.m.   Kids Zone on Diggs Plaza in Burnet Woods (Clifton and Ludlow Aves.) includes face painting, balloon animals, jugglers, inflatables, kids crafts and Cincinnati Parks activities.
