Enjoy the cultural dance, music, art, and food of the Czech Republic on the lawn of the arts center.
Join us on Saturday, July 23 from 11am to 3pm for our next Hello & Welcome Community Day at Kennedy Heights Arts Center, 6546 Montgomery Road. To enhance the exhibition of prints from the Czech Republic in our Kennedy Gallery, titled Printed Voices from Czechia: Social and Cultural Reflections, curated by Saad Ghosn, we will have a festival that highlights the culture of the Czech Republic. This free, family-friendly event will include cultural dances, music performances, a display of cultural information, and regional specific food – all in partnership with the American Czechoslovakian Club of Dayton, OH. Curator Saad Ghosn will also give guided tours of the printmaking exhibition, and there will be art activities for guest of all ages.
Outdoor event. Rain date is Sunday, July 24th. You are welcome to bring a lawn chair if you would like.
