This free class for high school students is a part of the Wyoming Fine Arts Center’s “Loving Wyoming” project! Learn about queer art history while creating art inspired by them!
Loving Wyoming is a project the Wyoming Fine Arts Center is launching in the spring of 2021, a project that serves as a warm, welcoming celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Through this project, The Center aims to:
• Create a more inclusive community
• Continue to teach students the importance and power of love and acceptance
• Share work on social media to spread awareness to the city at large
• Collaborate with queer creatives and give artists a platform to show work
• Create an environment of diversity and inclusion that builds a stronger team and city
Any high school student can join us for this free class on April 24th, from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at the Wyoming Fine Arts Center. Learn about the works of Egon Schiele and Marie Laurencin. We will spend the class discussing them along with creating watercolor and charcoal drawings inspired by their art.
