Celebrate the holiday season with a night of facts, stories, and songs of the season that are shared during Expectations of Christmas, a special holiday show for one night only.
What better way to get into the holiday spirit than by joining some of Cincinnati’s most beloved performers as they present seasonal stories and songs? Monday, December 14, 2015 at 7:00 pm marks Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati’s annual one-night only show Expectations of Christmas, a fundraiser for our Over-the-Rhine neighbor Tender Mercies, which provides permanent and transitional housing for the homeless with histories of chronic mental illness. Tickets are only $10.
Did you know that the most popular of all Christmas treats, the candy cane, originated from the staff carried by St. Nicholas? That poinsettias are native to Mexico and became popular at Christmas because of their red and green color? These and other facts, stories, and songs of the season are shared during Expectations of Christmas. We hope to see you there!
