Express Yourself: Creative Writing and Storytelling Camp

Creative storytellers will discuss how to become writers through practical writing habits, advice from expert writers, and even a game or two to promote our creativity. Lessons on details, dialogue, and plot will help campers become stronger writers. We’ll use the college technique of writer’s workshop to improve our work and learn about constructive criticism. We’ll put together our own magazine before the end of the week. Parents and guardians are invited to join us during the last thirty minutes of camp on Friday for a “magazine release” party.
