FREE Kids African Drum and Dance

Bi-Okoto’s Kids African Drum and Dance focusses on Traditional and Contemporary dances from West African including Ghana, Guinea, Togo, and Senegal. Our class offers an enriched cultural experience through the arts that has long been traditional sources of self-knowledge, community cohesion and spiritual communion. Come learn traditional dances, rhythms and songs and at the same time explore the functions of these dances in relationship to your own life. Class warm-up we educate about African dance and drum technique which includes working on core strength, stretch, stamina, grounding, community building and rhythmic sensibility.
