A staged reading of a new musical with an add-on bourbon tasting
Be the first to see this new musical! This world premiere about a local bootlegging king will be presented as a staged reading. Meaning you’ll get to see the show in full, but it will feature actors with scripts in hand.
A penniless German Immigrant who lived right here in the Queen City, George Remus became a pharmacist, then a lawyer, and eventually the most famous bootlegger of them all. He had government politicians in his pocket, the Chicago mob at his feet, and the perfect scheme for selling barrels and barrels of whiskey during the era of prohibition and speakeasies – some even say he was the basis for F. Scott Fitzgerald’s renowned novel, The Great Gatsby.

For $35 guests can purchase a “self-guided” bourbon flight sampler (includes show admission). These packages may be purchased in advance and will be available for pick up at the venue will call the day of the show.
