Workshops are designed to build girls’ courage and confidence within a safe community. Take the lead all weekend by choosing activities that interest YOU the most. Caregivers, this year a jotform will be sent out in February for girls to select the workshops most important to them. Drop off your girl for the weekend as she takes on appropriate challenges and returns with a more positive sense of self, confidence, and purpose. Stronger together, hear us roar.
Bollywood Beat Interactive Workshop Description- Dance, music, action, drama, glamor all comes together in Bollywood movies. These dances have a touch of tradition, includes many different flavors and walks of life. These dances are very popular all over the world given they are earthy, simple yet energizing in nature. You will participate and experience the fun and celebratory dances. Dancer(s) dressed in colorful costumes, intricate jewelry and theatrical makeup will entertain you with breath-taking footwork and ancient story-telling techniques. Create a magical moment with this spectacular hands-on showcase of artistic expression, energy and the beauty that will make you experience incredible Dances of India.
