The Cincinnati Brass Band brings their signature British brass band sound to the great space of Saint Peter in Chains Cathedral.
Since its founding in 1993, the Cincinnati Brass Band has been delighting audiences with their signature sound in the British brass band tradition. Proclaimed as the “Official Brass Band of Cincinnati” for their contributions to the musical culture of Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Brass Band performs in multiple venues throughout the Cincinnati region.
The concert features several inspiring brass band arrangements including Malcolm Arnold\’s Fantasy for Brass Band, op 114. The band will partner with the cathedral pipe organ for a presentation of James Curnow\’s Rejouissance. Soloist Brian Huhtala and James Yost perform the beautiful Pie Jesu by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
