Hasan Minaj: The King's Jester

Host and creator of the weekly comedy show “Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj,” Hasan Minhaj comes to the Queen City on January 23.

Hasan Minhaj was the host and creator of the weekly comedy show Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj that premiered on Netflix in October 2018. The series explored the modern cultural and political landscape with depth and sincerity through his unique comedic voice. The show received a 2019 Peabody Award, a 2019 Primetime Emmy Award for “Outstanding Motion Design,” and was recognized for a 2020 Television Academy Honor.

In 2017, Minhaj earned rave reviews for his performance hosting the 2017 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and for his one-hour Netflix comedy special Hasan Minhaj: Homecoming King, which earned him a 2018 Peabody Award. A first-generation American, Minhaj joined The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as a correspondent in November 2014, where he was Jon’s last hire. He continued on in that role after Trevor Noah took over as host the following year and remained on the show through August 2018.

PARKING INFO

The Aronoff Center for the Arts is situated in the urban core of downtown Cincinnati. With more than 6,000 parking spaces within a two-block radius, there are a variety of parking options for guests attending performances at the Aronoff Center.

Independently operated valet parking is available for most evening performances at establishments adjacent to the Aronoff Center on Sixth Street and Walnut Street.

Guests attending performances are also encouraged to use the Aronoff Center’s designated drop-off and pick-up zone located on the south side of Seventh Street between Walnut and Main Streets. This location provides quick and easy access to the venue through the Aronoff’s North Plaza and Weston Art Gallery entrances. The Gallery entrance is handicap accessible and leads to an elevator that stops on all levels of the Procter & Gamble Hall.

Please note that the Aronoff Center does not own or manage the parking facilities  listed below. Parking rates are subject to change and are posted at each garage / lot.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Info regarding how this event is being affected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.:

As we welcome you back to the Aronoff Center and Music Hall, the health and well-being of our audiences, staff, volunteers, and artists remains our number one priority. In cooperation with the resident arts organizations at our venues, we have implemented layers of defense against COVID-19, including the Health and Safety Guidelines listed below. Due to the high levels of COVID-19 transmission in Hamilton County and the surrounding area, all guests, staff, and volunteers are required to wear masks at all times in our venues, regardless of vaccination status. This policy is effective immediately and until further notice. In addition, beginning September 13, 2021, ticket holders 12 years of age and older will be required to show a proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test for entry into the Aronoff Center and Music Hall. Requirements for children under 12 years old will be determined by each of our venue’s resident companies. In addition, specific health protocols and procedures may vary by organization.
