Lunch & Learn | The History of Mount Adams

Meet Jim Steiner, author of “Mount Adams: A History” as he discusses his book and the comprehensive history of Cincinnati’s oldest suburb.

This September meet Jim Steiner, author of “Mount Adams: A History” as he discusses his book and the comprehensive history of Cincinnati’s oldest suburb. Discover the people and history behind the schools, churches, and businesses that sprang up on the hill and persevered through the Civil War, WWI, the Great Depression, Prohibition, and WWII. For more ways to experience this unique Cincinnati neighborhood, you can also register for our October Walking Tour, which includes a visit to “Mount Ida”—home of the first observatory in North America, made possible by early Taft historic house resident Nicholas Longworth’s donation of property.

Advance registration required.
