Pastel artist Marilee Klosterman brings her solo exhibition to the Westheimer Gallery for April 2021.
April 2021 brings Springtime to the SCAC along with a spectacular set of pastel creations from Marilee Klosterman. A former UC instructor and Medical Technology professional, along with a cancer survivor and bone marrow transplant recipient, Marilee lives in rural southeastern Indiana and works from a studio on her property. She enjoys painting cityscapes, people, and rural scenes with her distinctive impressionistic style.
From the Artist:
“Ever since childhood, I have recognized painting was a ‘call’ to me. It is a means of expressing my feelings and a channel for my creative energy. Painting in pastel has become an integral part of my life. I seek to make things which are perhaps unnoticed, become noteworthy and beautiful subjects.”
The Art of Pastel will have a soft opening with regular hours on Friday April 2 and Saturday April 3. The exhibition runs through Saturday April 24.
Westheimer Gallery exhibits are open to the public Thursdays and Fridays 3-7PM, Saturdays 10AM – 2PM, or by appointment.
Our FIRST FRIDAY Reception Party will take place on Friday April 9 from 5:30 – 7:30PM.

PARKING: Parking is available in the SCAC lot at the corner of Reading Rd and Walnut St, on our building's south side. Additional free public parking is available in City of Sharonville lots, located around the corner on Walnut behind Cliff Hardware, as well as behind PNC Bank at Reading Rd and Creek Rd.
DIRECTIONS: From I-275: Take exit 46 to Lebanon Rd (US-42). Head south on US 42. Stay to the right on Reading Road. Turn right at Walnut Street.
From I-75: Take exit 15 to head east on Sharon Road. Follow to the left onto Main Street (one-way). Turn left on Walnut Street.
