Mozart: Don Giovanni

Presented by Queen City Opera at Unknown

May 26 - 28 2017
Mozart: Don Giovanni

A dark comedy about a sleazy young nobleman who receives a supernatural punishment for committing rape and murder.

A new production of the classic dark comedy, like you have never seen it before. Artistic Direction by Mozart expert Isaac Selya, who holds a doctorate with specialization in Mozart’s operas.

The question of seduction versus rape features prominently in this opera, so we are partnering with the Education Department of Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio and Jewish Family Services to provide teaser events and pre-concert presentations on consent and sexual assault.

With full orchestral accompaniment, conducted by Isaac Selya.

Sunday, May 28th at 3 pm
