Join us for the opening reception of “For a Better World” (2023), book of poems and drawings on peace and justice by Greater Cincinnati Artists.
The poems and original drawings of the annual anthology “For a Better World” (2023), book of poems and drawings on peace and justice by Greater Cincinnati Artists, now in its 20th year, will be exhibited from July 5 to 22 at the Annex Gallery, downtown Cincinnati.
Poems by 76 Greater Cincinnati poets paired with illustrative drawings by 34 Greater Cincinnati visual artists, will be on display. They represent a community view on social justice issues as voiced by our local poets and artists.
The show opens on Wednesday, July 5.
There will be an Opening Reception Saturday July 8 from 1 to 3 pm during which, at 2pm, will take place a Dance performance by Japanese American dancer and choreographer Tadashi Kato.
The exhibition will be on view until July 22 2023.
