Co-Lab: A Queen’s Liberation Story is a collaborative performance and programming series taking place at the Contemporary Arts Center.

Jori An Cotton and Desirae “The Silent Poet” Hosley will collaborate as writers/directors to produce Queens’ Liberation Story, an empowering performance based on the sex stories shared by black and brown women/womxn. Performance: A Queen’s Liberation Story, taking place in the CAC Black Box theater, reassures that talking about sex should not be shamed or hidden.

Through a series of three guided workshops over a 1 month period, a diverse group of black and brown women/womxn from across Cincinnati engaged in writing and sharing their stories in their own words will create a culminating performance, open to all, based on their sex stories.
