Pottery and Painting Classes

Preschool Pottery – Mondays, 3:30 – 4:15 p.m.
Little ones will make clay artwork that will be treasured for years to come. They will use coil, slab and pinching methods than glaze when finished.

Kids and Tweens Drawing & Painting – Tuesdays, 6:30 – 8 p.m. (Kids) and Wednesdays, 6:30 – 8 p.m. (Tweens)
The ArtsConnect Drawing & Painting classes combine skills in various mediums. These classes will develop children’s artistic skills in order to communicate their own ideas in 2-dimensional form.

Hand-building and Pottery Wheel – Mondays, 4:30 – 6 p.m. (Kids) and 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. (Adults) 
Score, slip and press! Those are the first steps to working with clay. Participants will learn hand-building techniques, such as making coils and slabs to build 3-dimensional clay creations. The Pottery Wheel Workshops give kids a chance to try their hand on the potter’s wheel. They will learn to throw, trim and glaze their pottery.

Kids Sewing – Thursdays, 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. (Intro) and Tuesdays, 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. (Advanced)
Learn the basics of sewing in this fun beginner’s class. Make several simple, but fun and functional projects such as pillowcases and quilt blocks. All supplies are included.
