Ensure a Safe Visit For You and Others:
The Taft Museum of Art is following Responsible RestartOhio’s protocols (and in many cases exceeding these guidelines) as well as continuing to strictly adhere and adapt to the guidance set forth by the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control.

We Ask You to:

  • Familiarize yourself with COVID-19 symptoms and do not visit if you are feeling unwell or have been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
  • Purchase admission tickets and make café reservations online with our contactless systems.
  • Prepare for your visit with our online visitor guides.
  • Wear face masks that properly cover the face; masks can be purchased on-site at admissions. If choosing to wear your own, offensive imagery will not be permitted.
  • Maintain six feet of distance from other visitors outside of your household.
  • Avoid congestion in small areas, such as bathrooms.
  • Wash your hands frequently and utilize hand-sanitizer (stations can be found throughout our facility)

The Taft Museum of Art Will:

  • Continue enhanced cleaning protocols for all Museum spaces.
  • Require employees to wear masks that properly cover their face.
  • Require touchless temperature checks before employees can begin their workday.
  • Provide sanitation stations throughout our facilities.
  • Limit admission capacity and offer visitation hours for vulnerable visitors.
  • Offer digital-only visitor guides.
  • Admission staff will be behind plexiglass barriers as extra protection.
  • Temporarily cancel in-person programming.

The Taft will continue to share updates on COVID-19 to inform our staff, volunteers, and visitors of effects to Museum operations and safety at taftmuseum.org/covid-response.
