Pulp - a noir-style comedy

A 1930’s film noir comedy with a pulp fiction twist.

Pulp by Joseph Zettelmaier
directed by Andrew Hungerford

A National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere

October 7-29, 2016

In 1930’s Los Angeles, washed-up PI Frank Ellery takes on the strangest case of his life. A noted literary agent has been gruesomely murdered, and the four suspects are his remaining clients, all writers for different pulp magazines. Frank dives into the mystery, and his world turns upside down as life begins to imitate literature.

In this new comedy, science fiction, romance, adventure, and horror combine with one down-on-his-luck gumshoe who’s about to learn what really lurks between the lines.

Starring an all-star cast of Cincinnati favorites: Paul RiopelleMaggie Lou RaderJustin McCombsDarnell Pierre Benjamin, and Dylan Shelton.

A National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere from the author of Know’s 2015 hit All Childish Things.

ADMISSION INFO

Know Theatre strives to structure our ticket pricing in a way that makes theatre accessible to everyone who wants to see a show. And we’re switching to a new online box office that makes it easier than ever to manage tickets on your own time, outside of our normal box office hours.

Here’s the breakdown.

Mainstage Tickets: $25

Guarantee a reserved seat for most of our Mainstage Productions for just a couple bucks more than it would cost to see a 3D Imax Showing of Godzilla. Added bonus: our popcorn is cheaper!

Rush Tickets: $15

If you’re short on funds, arrive an hour before show time to get on our waiting list. If there’s a seat available 15 minutes before the show starts, we’ll sell you a ticket for $15. Just promise us that if you like the show, you’ll tell fifteen friends.

6 ticket Flex-pass: $110

For the frugally minded who want to plan ahead: you can get a flex pass that allows you to reserve seats for performances at the low-low price of $18.33 a ticket. Such deal! So much wow.

Second Stage/Presented Events/Fringe Encores Tickets: $15

Sometimes we do shows outside of our MainStage programming, usually on the cabaret stage in our bar, the Underground, but sometimes in other locations. And we also present shows by partner organizations on our stage. And each year we bring back some favorite shows from the Fringe to do Encores! Get tickets to those events for $15.

Membership: $250/year

We know you love theatre. But if you really love theatre, here's a fantastic way to support us, and get some great benefits. Our membership program is part traditional subscription, part NPR style sustaining membership, and all awesome. Find out more HERE.
