The Readers Theatre Project is a season of readings of some of the world’s great plays and performed by a group of the region’s finest actors in the Loft. Kimberly Daniel conceived of and serves as the Artistic Director of the series.
You are cordially invited to the first performance on March 6 @7pm:
“Gertrude Stein and a Companion”
Win Wells’ Gertrude Stein and a Companion is an insightful and often humorous “conversation” between two iconic figures of the 20th century arts world – Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas. The conversation begins on the day of Stein’s funeral. Dale Hodges, one of Cincinnati’s favorite actresses, will join Kimberly Daniel for this reading.
Everyone involved with the Readers Theatre Project is donating their services for these readings. Donations will be taken at the door, and we hope everyone will donate at least $15 to support projects that the Barn presents throughout the year. But, whatever you are able to donate, we hope first and foremost that you will join us for a wonderful evening of theatre, with a lively discussion afterward.
