Regal Rhythms Poetry presents "Hit the Mic Cincy's 2nd Annual Black Book Fair & Open Mic"

Admission is FREE and open to the public courtesy of season funder, ArtsWave. This event is to  inform and have all races celebrate aspiring and published authors who are black, indigenous, people of color (BIPOC), who are currently only responsible for about 6% of authorship. Amazon’s Best-selling author, Vernon “Elament” Jackson, will be doing a special Book Marketing Workshop. Last year’s event  brought 17 local BIPOC authors and 2 publishers from the National Black Book Fair. Space is limited and will go quickly. All book vendors must be BIPOC authors. This is perfect for aspiring authors. You will receive information from our publishing panel and have a chance to speak with publishing companies and organizations. Also, there will be an open mic segment during the Book Fair. Free parking on-site, on-street, and approved at College Hill Recreation Center.
