11th annual Golden Ticket winner Shelby Alexander presents a solo exhibition at the CCAC @ Short Vine Gallery.
Shelby Alexander, the winner of CCAC’s 11th annual Golden Ticket exhibition, presents multimedia work both inspired by and at odds with fashion, combining delicately crafted figure drawings with backdrops of recycled textiles. These works, beautiful that they are, draw attention to the tension present between the aesthetics of fashion and the environmental realities of the fashion industry.
