WHEN
July 18-27, 2019

WHERE
Christ Church Cathedral
318 East Fourth Street
Cincinnati, OH 45202

SummerSing Chamber Choir
Megan Boyd, Conductor
July 18 – 21, 2019

The Program
Megan Boyd, Director of Choral Activities at Xavier University, will lead a chamber choir of up to 24 singers in a program entitled, “From Her Perspective,” a program with texts by and about powerful and influential women. Join this powerful and influential woman as she makes her Collegium Cincinnati debut with this stunning program.

Because of the relatively short rehearsal period, singers will be expected to arrive at the first rehearsal with their notes learned. The rehearsal pace will be energetic, and a high level of detail will be expected.

If you are a confident choral singer ready to be challenged, this experience is for you!

SummerSing Masterworks Choir
Michael Ciavaglia, Conductor
July 21 – 27, 2019

Repertoire
Antonio Vivaldi: GLORIA
John Rutter: REQUIEM

Don’t miss this opportunity to sing two of the most popular pieces of choral music in today’s repertoire; there’s a reason people love to sing this music! Led by conductor Michael Ciavaglia in his Collegium Cincinnati debut, you will enjoy the opportunity to sing with the fantastic soloists and orchestra of Collegium Cincinnati.

Among his many other activities, Dr. Ciavaglia has worked for numerous years with the Cincinnati Opera Chorus and is a graduate of CCM. You’ll love singing for him!

No audition is necessary for this experience. Singers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult; singers under 13 wishing to participate must have approval of the director.
