Special guest poet Alysia Nicole Harris will be stopping by Elementz this Thursday to host a poetry workshop! Elementz members and guest are all welcome to attend this FREE workshop here at the center on Thursday, October 29th 5-7pm.
Alysia Nicole Harris is the 2015 Dunconson Artist-in-Residence at the Taft Museum of Art. Her poetry has been published in Indiana Review, Catch & Release (Columbia: A Journal of Literature and Art), Solstice, Vinyl Magazine, and many other literary journals. She has toured nationally starring on HBO’s Brave New Voices, and has performed at the United Nations, as well as in Canada, South Africa, Germany, Slovakia, and the UK.
