At the Art Academy of Cincinnati, teens can strengthen their portfolio, prepare for college, or just express their creative voice in an inclusive and diverse community.
This course will teach students to draw the face and hands realistically using graphite, pencils, and other drawing utensils. Starting with contour line drawings, class will proceed to blind contour line drawings and eventually realistic drawings of the hands and face. This class will give students the opportunity to explore and develop their understanding of drawing techniques pertaining specifically to the face and hands, as well as provide an essential and fundamental experience that will further enrich the technical fluencies each student brings to their own artwork.
ADMISSION INFO
Classes are held in Morning Sessions (9am-12pm) or Afternoon Sessions (1-4pm). Students can take one class a week for $160, or take two classes a week for $275 total!
