At the Art Academy of Cincinnati, teens can strengthen their portfolio, prepare for college, or just express their creative voice in an inclusive and diverse community.
This helpful introduction to figure drawing will offer student the opportunity to learn about the underlying structure of the figure. Learn to draw the human figure realistically in dynamic compositions using pencil, charcoal, ink and other drawing materials with an emphasis on contour, gesture, and the underlying structure of the figure. This course will teach younger students how to see accurately and respond expressively. This course will stress two basic concepts: shape and tonal value, both in the context of COMPOSITION.
ADMISSION INFO
Classes are held in Morning Sessions (9am-12pm) or Afternoon Sessions (1-4pm). Students can take one class a week for $152, or take two classes a week for $260 total!
