The Essence of Storytelling with Greg Newberry
Learn from award-winning writer/director/filmmaker Greg Newberry as he leads engaging storytelling workshops for teens and adults!
Calling all creative writers, journalists, film makers, politicians, comedians, marketers, entrepreneurs, directors, board members, actors, grant writers, students, and song writers – we all have stories to tell.
The Center has the workshop to help you find your words.
Register for either a 3-hour Adult Storytelling Workshop on April 1st, or a Teen Storytelling Workshop on April 8th, and follow up with a complementary regroup and reading session on April 15th.
A master storyteller, Newberry has condensed the art of storytelling into nine fundamental ingredients that are easy to learn, understand and apply. He shows how the ingredients are used across a variety of formats – from TED talks to songs and stories told through imagery – and how to use them to tell your stories.
