Create a cherished family tradition in the Land of Sweets! Join Clara and her Nutcracker Prince in this re-envisioned holiday classic, The Nutcracker at Home presented by Frisch’s. During a Victorian Christmas party, a visit from her uncle and a mysterious gift begin Clara’s wondrous journey to a magical land. Along the way, Clara meets a colorful cast of characters including the Snow King and Queen, some frisky mirlipoos, a bouquet of beautiful flowers, and of course, the Sugar Plum Fairy. Artistic Director Victoria Morgan’s re-imagined, colorful, whimsical choreography is a treat to behold from your home, in this hour-long performance.

The Nutcracker at Home presented by Frisch’s will be recorded at Cincinnati Music Hall following strict health and safety protocols. The production will feature Artistic Director Victoria Morgan’s whimsical choreography, Main Company dancers, and gorgeous sets and costumes. Morgan and the Cincinnati Ballet’s artistic and production teams spent countless hours working with Emmy award-winning Director David Ashbrock to adapt the ballet for television. Due to the pandemic, dancers will wear masks and follow socially-distancing guidelines, but we promise an up-close, immersive experience of The Nutcracker like never before.
