Join us for this one-week Performance Academy for young performers in sixth through twelfth grade at The School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA), from June 6, 2022 to June 10, 2022.
Ready Player One! Choose your fighter, champion or hero as you log in and transform into your favorite video game character. Spend the week gaining experience points through costume design, character creation, monologue writing and performances classes. At the end of the week, share your player’s story by performing your monologue for family and friends.
Classes Include: Acting, Improvisation, Character Creation, Costume Design, Rehearsal and Performance
This process-based performance program is for the theatre enthusiast who wants to experience the production of a play from beginning to end. During each full-day camp session, campers will take technique and special skills classes and rehearse a play to be performed with limited sets and costumes for friends and family at the end of the week.
ADMISSION INFO
Tuition is $245 per child and can be purchased on the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park website. There will be no refunds given after May 25, 2022, for all June camps and June 22, 2022, for all July and August camps. Cancellations before the refund deadline will be honored with a full refund, minus a $25 administration fee.
