Voice in Bloom

Presented by Elizabeth F. Gentner at Seasongood Pavilion in Eden Park, Cincinnati OH

May 26 2021
Voice in Bloom

Elizabeth F Gentner, Soprano & Kathleen Kelly, Piano present a live concert of opera, art song and music theater.

Join me and Kathleen Kelly for Voice in Bloom, celebrating my return to the stage!

Its been over a year since I have had the pleasure of singing live! My favorite activity is sharing beautiful music with people in person. Though I know it was the right thing to stop performing last year, I have been feeling a deep sense of loss in my time away from the stage. I am filled with joy at the idea of performing and I can’t wait to share it with all of you!

I’ll be highlighting the works of Clara Schumann, Florence Price and Amy Beach. I will also be including some fan favorites from opera and music theater by Giuseppe Verdi, Richard Rodgers and more.

My colleague, pianist Kathleen Kelly, and I are delighted to bring this beautiful music to the stage on May 26th at 7:00 p.m. Outdoors, with a mask, rain or shine!

Voice in Bloom Covid Plan: Elizabeth F. Gentner is actively monitoring the incidence of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in this region. I have been asked how COVID-19 may impact my upcoming event Voice in Bloom. Elizabeth is following guidance from local health departments and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding large gatherings, including CDC recommendations on preventing the spread of COVID-19. At this time, our upcoming Voice in Bloom will take place as planned. However, if you are sick or feeling you are getting sick, we ask that you please stay home. Currently, older adults and persons with underlying health conditions are considered to be at increased risk of severe illness and complications from COVID-19. Examples of underlying health conditions include heart disease, lung disease, diabetes, people with weakened immune systems, and people who are pregnant. The CDC recommends that people in high-risk groups consult with their healthcare provider about attending any large gathering. If you do choose to attend Voice in Bloom, please keep in mind the CDC recommendations on how to keep yourself and others healthy: Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
