This tour explores women’s lives and work in Over-the-Rhine, from the German-speaking immigrants of the mid-1800s to the African American women who moved to Over-the-Rhine in the 1960s.
This tour explores women’s lives and work in Over-the-Rhine, from the German-speaking immigrants of the mid-1800s to the African American women who moved to Over-the-Rhine in the 1960s. The tour covers topics important to women’s history—work, childbirth, motherhood, and social activism. The tour begins at the northeast corner of Washington Park—the intersection of 14th and Race streets—and is held in collaboration with the Over-the-Rhine Museum.
In case of inclement weather, these walking tours will be rescheduled for a later date.
$10 Taft members, $15 non-members. Reservations required.
