Fabric Artist and Quilter Pamela Folberth brings her delightful work to the SCAC’s Westheimer Gallery for the month of February.
“Dreams really do come true” is what Pam Folberth says about her lifelong passion and livelihood that has come from sewing. She received her first sewing machine at age five and has been working with the machines and creating her art ever since. Her mother always encouraged and inspired her creativity, fostering Pam’s love of fabric, design and color since childhood. In a high school home economics class, Pam realized that sewing was her calling.
Pam has spent her life making and taking opportunities that included sewing and working with sewing machines. Her Sew-Ezy Shop in Sharonville houses over 3,000 bolts of fabric, continues to be Cincinnati’s Janome sewing machine dealer, and provides inspiration and encouragement to fabric artists and quilters of all aptitudes. Monthly classes in the sewing studio provide a perfect opportunity for participants to learn a new art or polish up on existing skills, all the while enjoying the company of those who share their hobby or passion for sewing.
Pam’s fabric art will be exhibited during the month of February. An opening reception for “The Love of Fabric…in Quilts!” will be held at the gallery on Friday, February 1 from 6-8pm. Come meet the artist, enjoy light nibbles and libations and marvel at Pam’s “eye candy” beautifully on display. The reception and exhibition are free and open to the public.

PARKING: Parking is available in the SCAC lot at the corner of Reading Rd and Walnut St, on our building's south side. Additional free public parking is available in City of Sharonville lots, located around the corner on Walnut behind Cliff Hardware, as well as behind PNC Bank at Reading Rd and Creek Rd.
DIRECTIONS: From I-275: Take exit 46 to Lebanon Rd (US-42). Head south on US 42. Stay to the right on Reading Road. Turn right at Walnut Street.
From I-75: Take exit 15 to head east on Sharon Road. Follow to the left onto Main Street (one-way). Turn left on Walnut Street.
