Within: Paintings by Ruthe Wyman

“Within: Paintings by Ruthe Wyman” is an exhibit of recent lively and vivid acrylic abstracts that depict her continual exploration of color, texture and emotion. These thoughtful and thought-provoking paintings may take you back to places you have been or perhaps make another indescribable connection with you. The variety of paintings and sizes can bring joy to almost any space.

Gallery open 1 – 4pm weekends and 10am – 2pm weekdays except Monday. Ruthe will be in the Gallery during open hours. Face coverings are required to enter the Barn.

Ruthe is a native of Northern Kentucky and Florence resident. She graduated with honors from Thomas More College (B.A. in Art), University of Cincinnati (M.A. in Art Education) and Northern Kentucky University (Rank I). Her first career was teaching art to students of all grades in Kentucky Schools. For the past thirteen years, Ruthe has enjoyed being a full time professional artist. Acrylic painting is her preferred medium. Ruthe is a member of the Cincinnati Art Museum as well as the Women’s committee. She is also a member of the Boone County Visual Arts Association and serves as publicity chairperson for the organization. Besides creating and selling her art, she has donated art to benefit local charities within the community. Her work has been exhibited at numerous places including: The Kentucky Capitol Rotunda, Art Academy of Cincinnati, Carnegie Art Center in Covington, Northern Kentucky University, Nordheim Gallery, Art on the Levee Gallery and other galleries, art fairs and businesses.
