Inspired by selected paintings from internationally renowned artist and poet Annie Ruth’s “On Her Shoulders” collection, youth participants will work with Annie to use her recent paintings as a catalyst for their own creations of poetry, prose, rap and songs.
Writing What I See will expose youth writers to a wealth of ideas to learn how to dig deep and express a written response to visual works of art. Led by Annie Ruth, ages 14-18. Sponsored by ArtsWave, Duke Energy, Fifth Third Bank, and Greater Cincinnati Foundation.
