Community Education

Program description

Every year over 2,600 people of all ages study art through the AAC’s Community Education Department. Courses are affordable and open to all. Our programs include: Adult/Teen, Summer Portfolio Preparation, Teen Studios for 13-18 year olds, Camp Art Academy for 5 – 12 year olds, Saturday and After-school Art for Kids, and the P&G funded Visual Art Outreach Program.

Our mission is to dedicate ourselves to providing a distinctive education to children, teens, and adults, empowering them to embrace their artistic abilities by giving them the proper tools to pursue a life of creativity.

Our vision is to be the leader in educating the community in the visual arts at every skill level and promoting creative opportunities for the public.
