Dramakinetics

Dramakinetics

Dramakinetics is a non-profit organization that teaches performing arts to children, teens and adults for fun and function (emphasis on FUN).

Our Mission: Engaging individuals of all abilities through movement, music and drama to help empower all individuals to reach their full potential; while experiencing, creating, and performing!

Using the Dramakinetics teaching method our teaching artists work with classroom teachers to build a program that integrates seamlessly into the classroom. Using the classroom teachers’ unit plan our staff create Dramakinetics' lessons that will fit into the unit and support core curriculum.

DK Schoolhouse Theater

Program description

Dramakinetics Schoolhouse Theater is a program for home schooled students ages 3-12, that started in March 2015.   This program is designed to use theatre activities to help students’ foster autonomy and develop social emotional understanding.  The performance piece for this program is developed around a children’s story that promotes positive characteristics and values and our games and activities will work to reinforce that lesson. At the end of the program the students will put on a performance for their families that they developed from the story they focused on over the length of the program. Class begins September 15th and will run for ten weeks, ending on November 17th! Sign-up today!
