Dramakinetics is a non-profit organization that teaches performing arts to children, teens and adults for fun and function (emphasis on FUN).
Our Mission: Engaging individuals of all abilities through movement, music and drama to help empower all individuals to reach their full potential; while experiencing, creating, and performing!
Using the Dramakinetics teaching method our teaching artists work with classroom teachers to build a program that integrates seamlessly into the classroom. Using the classroom teachers’ unit plan our staff create Dramakinetics' lessons that will fit into the unit and support core curriculum.

The Dramakinetics Social Emotional Learning Through Arts (DK SELTA) program addresses elements of social-emotional learning that help students understand social responsibility and respect for ourselves and each other. Using performing arts as the vehicle, SELTA teaches students ways to take personal responsibility, define and prioritize personal goals, improve active listening skills, learn to work cooperatively, and find a balance between school, friends and family.
We infuse elements of social awareness into drama, movement and music projects that focus on current social themes and issues that help us take care of ourselves, others, and the environment.
We offer in- school, after school, and community workshops for youth. Program length and number of sessions may be modified according to the needs of your classroom, afterschool program, or community organization.
