Cincinnati Nature Center

Cincinnati Nature Center

Cincinnati Nature CenterĀ is a nonprofit nature education organization founded in 1965. We are the largest member-supported nature center in the country, with over 150,000 visitors a year. Our members actively support us by volunteering their time, talents, and resources.

Award-winning trails wind through Eastern deciduous forest, fields, streams and ponds. Rowe Woods in Milford, is just east of Cincinnati, spanning 1,025 acres (including 65 acres of old growth forest) and offering more than 16 miles of hiking trails.

Rowe Woods is home to the Marge & Charles Schott Nature PlayScape, where natural features are designed for open-ended creative play. Plants, soil, and water can be touched and manipulated, not just observed, to stimulate the senses and promote a sense of wonder.
