This exhibit displays artwork by Art Academy of Cincinnati students which through a Helms Trust grant have been acquired for AAC’s permanent collection.
This exhibit includes pieces acquired between 2007 and 2015 and introduces artwork by 2016 winner Katlyn Wolary (shown here). The William G. and Mary Jane Helms Charitable Foundation makes it possible for the Art Academy of Cincinnati (AAC) to acquire student art for AAC's permanent collection. Students compete for cash prizes for realistic or representational two-and three-dimensional works of art. The exhibition includes works by AAC artists Derek Alderfer, Matthew Bustillo, Emily Combs, Katelyn Dobson McBroom, Katie Koga, Julio Labra, Mi-Hee Nahm, Fahrudin Omerovic, Michael Price, and Kelly Tadge.
