ish is an inclusive community-wide celebration of Jewish & Israeli art, food, music & cultural experiences. The event is FREE, OPEN to the public, with appeal to ALL AGES!
ish is a community festival to promote and celebrate Jewish & Israeli arts and cultural traditions. The event will debut Washington Park on September 17, 2017, and will feature an outdoor arts market, agency booth fair, musical and dance performance acts, and of course nosh (food). ish is a celebration of arts and cultural heritage, and is a non-political initiative. As a Jewish & Israeli festival, we aim to celebrate the diversity and differences of many identities, beliefs, cultural heritages and experiences, and welcome participation from non-Jewish Israeli, Christian, Muslim, Palestinian and other-identifying artisans, vendors, and organizations.
ish is an independent initiative made possible through support from the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati's Jewish Innovations Funds. The organizers are all volunteers, and represent a collaborative partnership of several community agencies, young professionals, and advisers, who are not associated or housed within any one single organization. It is our priority to promote local Cincinnati-area talent, while showcasing a selection of regional, national, and international artists, vendors, and community partner agencies.
