Forget-Me-Not Dance

Social dance to showcase what our grandparents danced during World War I and how the music influenced what they danced. Our audience will join us for some of these dances.

Skool Aid

Drums can talk, and they can also teach! Participants will be set up in a drum circle format with African hand drums and other percussion items, where everyone can be seen and heard. Through the music, we will learn how to listen, play in time, repeat what we hear, work as a team, and when to be silent. Through fun rhythmic games, we will explore music terms, mathematical concepts, rhythmic notation, and more!

School House Symphony
1:15 PM – 2:00 PM

An introduction to the instruments of School House Symphony, the musical families they belong to and an interactive exploration of how they work.

2:15 PM – 3:00 PM

ROKCincy is proud to present Mozart's beloved fairy tale opera,"The Magic Flute." Our colorful, high energy adaptation is appropriate for grades K-6 and families and is 35 minutes long with a Q&A after the show.
